Preserving Souplantation’s Legacy: Digitizing 1.6 Million Pages Before Closure

Before the COVID-19 pandemic led to the closure of all Souplantation and Sweet Tomatoes restaurants in 2020, our team undertook a comprehensive project to digitize their facility plans and supporting documents across all locations nationwide.

We scanned approximately 1.6 million pages, including large facility plans and essential operational documents, ensuring that crucial records remained accessible even after the chain shut down. As part of the project, we emptied their file cabinet drawers, reclaiming valuable office space that was previously occupied by paper records.

To ensure continued access, we provided them with a secure file repository for remote access and an external storage drive for internal use. By transitioning to a digital format, they could retrieve files instantly, improving efficiency while eliminating the need for bulky physical storage.

Although Souplantation eventually closed its doors, their important records are now securely preserved for any future reference or legal needs.
